Swimming, Eating, and Fishing

Yesterday we took an all-day trip to Carlisle to wish Shane's Dad a happy but early Father's Day. We had a great time swimming, eating, and catching up with family. Gloria cooked a delicious meal of chicken and ribs on the grill. There was no shortage of food and desserts...we all ate way too much. Shane's Grandparents, Aunt Cheryl, and brother Jason and his family were there as well so Jack got to spend a full day hanging out with his family. He liked sitting poolside and just splashing his feet in the water. He wasn't too sure about the whole swimming thing! While we splashed around, Shane enjoyed fishing in the family's pond. He caught at least 12 fish. We headed home around 9pm and put Jack to bed by 10:30...he only got up once for just a few minutes and ended up sleeping in till 10am. He was one pooped little boy! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend...it's hard to believe tomorrow is Monday already.
