Knee Surgery
As most of you know, my Mom has been suffering with severe knee pain since the beginning of January. What started out as a bad infection in her knee (she was hospitalized twice) has know led to a full knee replacement being needed. Her last MRI showed her knee is basically just bone on bone which is very painful. Well, my Mom finally goes in for her surgery tomorrow morning at 9:45 am. The surgery is expected to take about 3 hours and after that she will remain in the hospital for a few days. Then it's a few weeks of rehab and hopefully in a month or so she'll start feeling like her old self again. I'm just asking that you all keep her in your prayers tomorrow as she goes through the surgery and as she's recovering. She is very nervous about tomorrow but I know God will take good care of her. I will keep you all updated on her progress. In other family news, PapPap came home from the hospital today! He is feeling much better. He will celebrate his 76th birthday this Sunday, May 4th. For anyone that would like to send him a card or pay him a visit, he is in Room 607 at the Manor at Susquehanna. He loves visitors and getting mail. Also, Jack is really trying hard to walk. He pulls himself up on the furniture and moves from piece to piece...I will try to get some pictures of him and post them later. And one more thing, CONGRATULATIONS to Brooke's softball team for their big win tonight. Great job, girls!
