It's the Shoes that Make the Man

Today Jack got his very first pair of summer shoes--an adorable pair of sandals. He looks like such a big shot in them. His very thoughtful Nina got them for him so his little toes wouldn't be sweating all summer long. Nina was full of other surprises too. She bought Jack his very own baby pool to put in the back yard. It is very cute and is even partially shaded so he won't be under full sun. She also got him a turtle to "ride" on when he goes into bigger pools like Jason and Melanie's or Vicki's. And last but not least she bought him some "swimmers" to wear in the pool. They are special diapers that won't fall apart when wet. So, Jack is officially ready for the start of summer. Thank you SO much, Nina. Jack loves his Nina very much...his face lights up into a huge smile as soon as he see's her and he sticks his arms out right away so she'll hold him. He thinks everything she does is funny and he loves to show off for her. Hopefully after Nina re-coops from her knee surgery she and Jack will be able to do even more fun stuff together. I know Jack would love that. By the way, I'm including some pictures of the shoes and the walk we took today. There is even a picture of Shane crossing a fallen tree at the MYO Canal.
