Happy 1st Birthday, Jack!!!

Today is our son's first birthday!!! We are celebrating with a big party next weekend, but for today, we are heading to Toys R Us so Jack can pick out some presents!!! It's so hard to believe our little baby has turned into such a big boy. Since Jack was born on July 18th I've decided to list 18 fun facts about our little guy.

1. Jack was born on a Wednesday at 7:33 pm.

2. Jack weighed in at 8lbs. 3oz. and measured 21.75 inches long.

3. Jack's middle name is Steven, after Maranda's dad.

4. When the nurse brought Jack into our room, he was very quiet and rarely cried or fussed.

5. Jack slept through the entire car ride home from the hospital.

6. On Jack's first night home, family and friends waited at our house to greet him.

7. The outfit Jack wore home was a blue and white animal printed onesie. (Mommy and Daddy still have it.)

8. Jack first rolled over at 3 months old.

9. Jack got his first tooth when he was 5 months old and had a total of 8 teeth before his 1st birthday.

10. Jack's first word was "Mama" which he said while his mama was changing his diaper. He was 5 months old.

11. A few days after saying "Mama", Jack said his 2nd word: "Papa".

12. Jack loves carrots and dislikes peas. One of his favorite baby foods was turkey with vegetables.

13. Jack started crawling at 8 months.

14. Jack started walking at 11 months.

15. Just last week, Jack learned how to stand up from a sitting position. No need to crawl anymore!

16. Jack is a sweet, lovable, huggable, kissable, squeezable little boy!

17. Jack looks like his Daddy and has alot of his Mommy's personality. (look out!)

18. Jack is loved so much by his Mommy and Daddy and so many friends and family.

Happy Birthday, Jack! You have been such a wonderful blessing to our lives. You make us laugh and smile every day of our lives. You've brought us joy like we've never known before. We love you SO much!!!
