Prayer Request
I just wanted to ask you all to keep a member of our family in your prayers. My Mother's boyfriend Sam lost everything he owned when a fire destroyed his home yesterday. He has nothing but the clothing he wore to work yesterday. As you can imagine, he is devastated by this horrible tragedy. We can only take comfort in the fact that he was not home at the time of the fire and no one was hurt. Sam is a generous and kind- hearted person and I just ask that you keep him in your prayers as he tries to put his life back together. Anyone who would like to call or send Sam well wishes can call me for my Mom's telephone number and address. I'm sure he'd appreciate hearing from you. And thank you to Melanie, Jason, Jean, Nate, and other family members who immediately rounded up clothing, shoes, and toiletries to give to Sam. Your kindness won't be forgotten.

Mer---Is there anything particular that we can send to Sam?
The fire was the result of a leaky gas pipe that ran from outside to his stove. It just built up until something (maybe the furance) kicked on and it just exploded. It is truly devastating but we Thank God no one in the house at the time. The Fire Marshall said no one
would have survied it.
Sam would like to Thank everyone for their prayers,donations and other acts of kindness in this very diffucult time.
