Growing, Growing, Growing...

This past weekend we made a very big change in our house. We said goodbye to Jack's crib and hello to his brand new big boy bed. Well, beds...bunk beds actually. We couldn't resist, it is so super cute and will be great for when he has his buddies or cousin Zayden sleep over. Right now he is king of the world on the top bunk and so far he has been doing great. Today he is off on his first official play date with a sweet little boy from his preschool class. I am so proud of the loving, gentle, kind, boy he is becoming. He is doing better in school and learning to treat his sister with a bit more kindness. It is an everyday struggle for him, but I can honestly say that he does try. Brynley is doing awesome. She is talking up a storm and seems to learn a few new words every day. She can point to parts of her body like her eyes, nose, belly, etc. She is quite the character and LOVES to dance. The kids and I were treated to a fun day at Chuck E Cheese with JeanAnn, Nate's mom Vicki, and Vicki's niece Olivia on Friday. The kids had a blast and have not been able to stop talking about it. Every time a commercial comes on TV, Jack yells "We were there!!!" It has been an exciting past couple of weeks and that's OK with me...anything to get Spring and Summer here a little sooner. Time to get outside in the jumping bubble and play!
