Date Afternoon!

Today my mom was nice enough to stay with the kids while Shane and I got to sneak out and watch a movie. We saw "Date Night" with Tina Fey and Steve Carell. It was a really funny movie and the couple reminded me of Shane and I. We had a great time, did some summer clothes shopping for the kids, and got some bargains at Ollies. It was an awesome afternoon with just me and my husband and I enjoyed the heck out of it. Days like these are rare lately and when we get them, we sure do enjoy them. It was nice to come home and be smothered in hugs and kisses by the kids, we are very lucky, even though Jack just wanted us for our left-over popcorn. Thanks again to my Mom and Jean for always being there to watch the kids when we need some time alone. Tomorrow we're hoping to tackle some chores outside like cleaning off the patio and pulling some weeds. Tonight, it's a quick trip to shop for diapers and formula.
